Blackberry Pearl 81x0 and Audi Bluetooth Kit

Hi All,

Does anyone know if a Blackberry Pearl (one of the new 8100, 8110 or 8120) will work with the Audi Bluetooth car kit. My new CEO has an A6 Avant 2007 model and wants to know if it will work. Audi's official line seems to be that the Pearl series hasn't been tested so they are refusing to say if it will or not. We only want basic answering and amking calls, not much interaction. Any help would be great!

there a list there of tested phones under the rnse section, should be the safe if not better with the newer MMI nav and bluetooth

good news... the blackberry pearl works fine with audi's mmi system and mine immediately read the address book on the phone without having to mess around with anything.
as soon as the key is in the ignition it automatically logs in.

the only drawback is that i dont think audi have a cradle to fit so i just leave the phone under the armrest out of the way.

i also went to carphone warehouse and got them to sit in my car with the new iphone. this also appeared to be fully compatable.

Any news on whether or not there will ever be a cradle for the blackberry 8100 series? Audi only seem to cater for a small range of Nokias...
