you could just have the chrome trim wrapped in black viynal mate, if you wanted to keep the oem grill

just plasti dip it mate.its easy, and if you get bored of it just rip it off and you have the stock chrome back on.

I'll be doing some bits (including the grille) on my car as soon as the weather gets better.
if u don't know what plasti dip is take a good look at this vid.

I was gonna plastidip mine - but I think i'm gonna go down the vinyl route instead, have a mate who's a bit of a wizard with vinyl as he's a signwriter by trade, he's going to wrap my grill and window surrounds.

Will work out a fair bit cheaper than plastidip, is also reversable if I change my mind and eliminates the possibility of doing it wrong or getting a poor finish etc.

I plasti dipped my front grill and rear badge, great job, took less than one can to apply about 7 or 8 coats of paint. Gonna do the window surrounds during the summer.

Get some pictures up of how the vinyl wrap comes out if you can mate. Was thinking of getting my surrounds done in chrome again as they have oxidised quite badly.
