Big power a4 1.8t Quattro

Hey guys getting the power bug after a few sh%t a brick rides out in two of my friends Leon's ones at 420 bhp and the at 350. Both on gt28 eBay turbos. What will I have to do to get mine to roughly 300/350? I think that power will be awesome in my Quattro. The first thing il be doing is rods. There both on relentless mani's do relentless or another brand make a mani for a longitudinal fitted 1.8t with gt28 flange? Will my twin coolers be up to the job or is a fmic essential? I will have the car on wmi anything else il need? The car is due for Cambelt and clutch change so more reason to do it wile everything is out. What clutch is best to go for being realistic? Thanks in advance mat.

Given it will be a bespoke setup you could lob an Ebay Chinese special on for the HP you need. It's the fabrication required to make things fit that cost money. Downpipe, FMIC pipework, Oil feeds and drains, water cooling and heat shielding. The relentless mani's are for K03/K04 type turbos not BT full frame
 
I won't 100% be using a eBay job as I'm not overly keen on them but if I did it would be checked out properly first. I'm a fabricator welder I weld stainless ally all day long so heat shields etc won't be a problem. If there a manifold that will fit directly for the bigger turbo or is it a case of cutting the flange of a certain manifold a fitting the right one?
 
Once you select your turbo you select a manifold to suit, ie T25 or T3 flanged . Choose underslung or top mount and job done
 
You will definately need a front mount intercooler. - Doubt the standard audi coolers/pipework would handle the added boost.

Maybe worthwhile speaking to backdraft motorsport - they know a lot about the 1.8T's
 
Funny that as I was looking at there site yesterday lol I will give them a ring tomorrow. I would rather have a top mount manifold if there's room lol is there anybody who's has done a BT on one of these?
