Big black box with fan!????

Hi all, in the boot theres a black plastic box with what looks like a cooling fan? its in the left hand side behind the compartment where you get to the bulbs! any idea what this is????

Cool, how do i get it working? i noticed the rear speakers aint workin too!

try messing with the stereo first,might be that the settings are askew if your lucky.

Its got an after market stereo! all the black plugs are in but have noticed it has secondry wiring that someone else has put in! will have to investigate!

Went to halfrauds a few weeks back as needed help fitting an aftermarket stereo, the guy said because of audi's half amp and full amp setup that he will have to re wire it so that the rear speakers work, left him for 10 minutes and it worked after, my advice is go to a local audio shop and ask them, if halfords can do it who cant.
