Bi xenon question

Morning all.
I have a 55 plate A3 S-Line with just standard headlights. I really want to get some Bi xenon's for the car as I have had these on a previous car. Does anyone know if you buy the Bi xenon conversion kit off eBay do they need to be connected to HID's or can they be connected to normal lights.

Was thinking I can do this while I complete an S3/ new S-Line facelift conversion. Thought I could buy the new headlight cluster and this kit and maybe it would work?? Hmmm any advise?

Do not fit xenon hid kits to your car, the bi-xenon headlights from Audi do fit. I had done that on mine before I face lifted. A simple search on the forum would bring up loads of threads on how to do the install and what you need
