getting on for 17k on my tyres and starting to feel like i needs some new. just checked quickly via National and Audi Silverlink, and Audi are £70 a tyre more :-O
any recommendations in the Newcastle area for best tyre places? there's a place just down from the Audi garage on Middle Engine lane but for some reason it's not coming up on the new website.

Which tyre are you looking for? I get mine online from Camskill and get them fitted locally for around a tenner a corner.

If anyone from Northern Ireland is reading this then Magowan Tyres in Mallusk is the place to be!

Cheaper than all online stockists as I found out when buying my Michelins.

I used camskill in the past but sadly they stopped delivering to Guernsey due to cost increases and they didn't have the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo I wanted.

So I went to mytyres.co.uk for a set of 4 @ £846.40. They were dispatched from Germany and with me in a few days so I can't fault the delivery service or the product. They offer much less road noise than my previous Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT's and better in the rain aswell according to the ratings.

thanks for all the replies, guys. all the places seem to be very much price-matched, so i'm thinking of going via tesco tyres (!) because they do triple and quadruple points on a couple of brands i'm considering - not to be sniffed at at 4x£200+ !!!
i can get them fitted at my usual Audi on Silverlink, costs a tenner though, which is a little annoying, but it means i can drop her off and pick up after work

I used to always say camskill.....but it seems as though they are focusing more on selling you everything now such as serviceable items- and they have let slip on the tyre side - which is where they were always leaders in the market.

After shopping around I've nailed it down to three places to get the cheapest tyres from-

    Camskill,
    MyTyres,
    Oponeo

Have a look at all three after you find the tyre you want.
