I would highly recomnd the bowers and wilkins headphones.
They arnt noise cancelling, but they are very, very good at blocking out background noise ie on an aircraft or bus, and IMO sound better than Bose and senhiesser.

I thought the DR Dre ones where just as bad as his music :p but headphones can be quite a personal thing.

I have some shure in ear headphones, not noise cancelling but the ear buds have a memory foam construction and expand to fill the ear. Used them on a plane last year and they did a great job of blocking out the engine noise

I'd go with this too, brilliant headphones for the money.

I wouldn't touch the Bose with a very long stick, they sound awful, very overrated pieces of junk.

I have sennheiser TR110 wireless headphones and would recommend them. Have had them a few years and they have a great range.
