As the title suggests... I'm on the look out for a nice set of wheels to go on the S3. There's nothing wrong with the standard one's and I know a lot of you are fans of them, but I just feel there's bound to be some better looking ones that suit the S3.

My car is Silver, so I reckon a slightly darker colour than the standard wheels would look good... but not too dark. I've been looking at the R8 wheels, but I'm not sure that they suit very well.

On my Golf Mk4 (was an R32 replica) I had the R32 wheels on it, which I still love... so multi-spoke IMHO looks just that bit better. I'm not really keen on the old RS6 wheels, but do like the RS4's a bit more.

Can anyone suggest any others that they think would look good?

BBS LM reps or originals, if the budget stretches to it, although the standards with a nice bit of spacing in a shade of grey look spot on as well

Mine is identical (except its a facelift)

Def the best alloys for a silver S3 (for any S3 IMO!)

Thanks for the replies guys! So the RS4 alloys seem to be quite popular then. Where's the best place to get some good quality replicas for a decent price?

I think in a silver car dark (but not too dark) wims work well. Anything too big and blingy is just too much silver IMO :)

    lol nice to be reconised!

Im alright thanks mate, just been busy with work etc, S3s still going strong, 2 years of ownership now and all Ive replaced is 2 tyres and a cv gaitor clip, plus filters obviously! Thinking of selling it tho and downsizing to a nice little A2 TDi, as much as I love the power every morning on the way to work Im just not getting the use out of it anymore.

Have I missed much on here?

Oh and sorry for the semi-thread hijack!

Nah Im a true fan, rough with the smooth and all that! Weve had no right to be in that league since we went up, and I can say that I saw us win the FA Cup and I went to watch us play Wolfsburg. Quite happy to drop a league now, cheaper tickets, less glory hunting false fans, more games and a purer football freer from overpriced players :p

I think they are Sportec Mono 10's, but I may well be wrong!! Not sure if they are 18's or 19's but I am leaning more to them being 19's.

    Cheers
