talking to a few of you guys at castle combe on saturday, and a few said that they had experienced the 3/4 beeps at start up when they turn the ignition on, the speedo goes all the way around and a big exclamation mark comes up in the dash display.
had this prob when i first bought my a3, read the book, low brake fluid. WRONG! checked as you do, fluid fine. now, i know a little, and also that my warranty was first stop. turns out this is not an uncommon thing, even amongst the golf owners, the sensor is at error, may just be float sticking, or damp on contacts, either way, cleaning of contacts, and goes away. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
still get it now and then, but check oil/water every week, so do this as well. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bang.gif
