Beeping alert on dash....

had a rear light out, replaced the bulb, now everytime i brake i get the beep alert from the dash, any ideas

Did you replace it with the correct bulb, which rear light was out & check the wattage of the old & new cause if its different it could cause bulb warnings intermittantly even if it works.

Might be the wrong bulb, also are you sure none of the others have gone since you have changed this one??

Also check all the other lights as well, just to be sure....

none of the others have gone, just had a brain wave, if its everytime i brake, could it be break fluid

are you talking about the DIS? if so what symbol is displayed?

you'll only get a bulb warning when the lights are switched on (he says stating the obvious)!!

Have you checked the connection, when my bulb blow it came on the display, so changed it and was working but still showing on the display and turned out the connection was slightly lose, pushed in and secured and all was good.

Have yuo checked the brake fluid???

I dont think it is to do with that, but its worth checking....

Uh yeah I assume you have the DIS which shows the warnings, does this not show anything when it beeps?

Try thease..
a- you have used a single filiment bulb and it needs to be a dule one or
2- Its in the wrong way, Take it out and turn it 180degrees then replace it

I had the same prob I hope it works
