Been to Bcs Tbe

    Since i have had my S3 i have had a few problems with the exhaust first it snapped and than the garage sent me to a so called exhaust specalist in Wigian and put a so called cat back s/s system on it to find when i was hitting boost i was getting the worst wind rush noise ever. So after a few calls and compare of prices and internet reviews Bcs came out on top now the guys there are so helpful knolagable regarding exhausts there work and care for your pride and joy is second to none in everyway. The way they finish there work you can tell they have alot of pride in there work and to keep customers happy go very far i arrived there after arranging for Dave to put my system on after hours so here go with some pics first my old and wind rush ever.

    As you can see the attention to detail that has gone into this system has gone far beyond "that will do" Dave and Nige are very apprchable guys and willing to chat to you about the thought that goes into the devlopment of there systems i can very highly recommend Bcs to anyone the exhaust note it a very nice deep bass and no wind rush when i hit boost i can hear the turbo flutter away again. Now time to enjoy my exhaust. Thanks for reading

    This is brilliant! Good man for posting up your experiences! Been talking with Nige recently and I am just about to take the plunge myself for the same system as you have went for here. Turbo back powervalve with sports cat yeah? Looks like a fantastic system, really looking forward to getting my own on now. Just wish I lived closer as Id get the guys to install it for me as well.

    I know marshy travelled from Scotland to have them fit one for him I wanted them to do it as they know them inside and out

    All I've seen is good things about BCS exhausts and as it's only up the road, I may definitely have to take a trip later on this year.

    Yeah mate I travelled from Scotland not just once either.
    I've had BCS on my last 2 cars and loved them.
    Just a matter of time until the S3 has a bcs I think.

    Sorry in advance bit of a dumb question But why not have 1 middle box instead of 2 smaller ones ??

    Hi there
    the reason we opted for two 125mm dia silencers in the middle is to enable continuous 76mm flow throughout the system.
    Other manufacturers opt for different designs, going either with a straight through pipe with no silencer (very loud - creates excessive drone) or reducing to 70mm and inserting a narrow oval silencer.:keule:
    If a single oval silencer were used to accomodate 76mm it would be very deep and due to the prop, ground clearance would be a major issue. By opting for dual silencers they could be positioned either side of the prop without any reduction in the gas flow rate. :o.k:
    Part of the BCS ethos is to give the best possible solution regardless of the level of difficulty possible to create the best overall performance system - it would be massivley cheaper and easier to produce a single straight through silencer, but it's well.... just wrong !

    These look the business.
    Do they drone at all or is not an issue with the 2 middle silencers?
    I assume the power valve helps to make it a sensible sound as opposed to a throbbing and boomy chav mobile on tick over?

    And finally, cost (inc fitting) PM if you prefer.
