Hi there
I think my Audi will need her battery replacing before the long cold nights set in, does my factory fitted sat nav/head unit have a code on it that I will need to input in the event of disconnecting the battery?

Cheers in advance RAW Audi.

Thanks for the reply Razza, just a couple more Q's :)

ok I disconnected the battery earlier, but couldn't see how the battery was secured, any ideas? Also I ended up giving in and reconnected the old battery, however when I started her again the traction control light stayed lit even when I tried to switch it off! Any ideas with that one? Cheers..RAW Audi.

theres a bolt infront of the battery quite hard to see
and it may be rusted up
the sat nav if oem fitted will not need code as its matched to the car.
if it was retro fitted it will need it.
traction will go out after a short drive.

Thanks for the quick response, I'll have another go tomorrow!
cheers.......RAW Audi

Managed to change it now, there was a m6 allen key cap head bolt securing it to the front(difficult to see). Thanks for all the help.

Cheers...........RAW Audi ;-)
