Battery condition check

Hi experts all.

A6 2.5TDI 2001.

I have a genuine VCDS cable and I am trying to check the condition of my battery.

I cannot access 19 CAN-Gateway. I understand that I need to look at Measuring blocks 018. 019. 020. but I do not know how to get there.

Can anyone please assist/advise a novice VCDSer?

Does this mean that there is no way to look at, for instance, battery voltage, through VCDS?

When Chris Adams was fixing my car recently he looked on his lappy and told me that my battery voltage was down to 11.8v.

How did he do that please?
