Battery Compartment Water Ingress

Guys,

It seems whoever owned my car last has put cardboard and sponges (lol) around the battery to soak up this water. Defo dont like the idea of having cardboard and sponges in there and want the problem resolved for good.

Does anyone know how to permanently fix the water ingress into the battery compartment?

Also, the battery wobbles about and doesnt seem fixed down, what should it be fixing into and how?

take the battery out and un block the drain holes job done :icon_thumright:

You could use a long handle bottle brush to push through the holes or remove the plugs to avoid any blockages again.One hole is under the battery but you can do it this way avoiding taking out the battery
