I have an audi a5 2008 and I have located the battery from the manual release and managed to get a look at the battery, I have bought the wrong battery so I will need to take the code to a shop and get a new one. But is it straight forward enough? Just a straight change over? It has been flat for months now, will it need to be programmed to the car?
    Thanks

Easiest option so i have been told by my mate that works on call for the RAC is go to Audi!
Simply because the new battery needs coding in, memories reset plus other headaches!
He mentioned this to me straight away when i told him i had bought a 5!
    Apparently there very awkward!

also, iirc, jump starting buggers them up too! Lol!
