New to forum so apologies if I've missed this somewhere else. I am about to change my Q3 for the 2015 FL version and have the option for Tech Pack on a really good deal. The showstopper for me is whether you can still use an iPhone 5 (or any mobile for that matter) using Bluetooth if you have a data SIM active at the same time. The brochure appears to say yes (I think!) but everything & everyone else are stating that the SIM takes priority over BT and that this is not possible. Not sure whether the latest revision of MMI has been changed or not. Local dealer investigating but I'm not expecting a definitive answer. Can anybody shed any light on this please. Many thanks

Both can be used there is an option in the hidden menu to enable this.

Thanks B5NUT. I take it one can get in the menu without any hassle?

Just find someone with VCDS local to you.

Enable the hidden menu using Vagcom/VCDS
[5F - Information Electr.]
[Adaptation - 10] -> Channel 6 -> Change 0 to 1
Save and Exit.

Accessing the Hidden Menu
Press/Hold car & setup at same time for approx 6 seconds

Go to the address / diagnose / settings / tel_settings

Set the checkbox in "NAD operation mode"

Reboot MMI

Thats helpful thanks. Still undecided about Tech Pack but will need to decide soon!
