I was thinking of switching my banking to Firstdirect, anyone currenlty with them . Would you recommend?

They've got a very good reputation - they say that their customers recommend them more than customers of other banks.

I'm a FD customer, so I guess I'll recommend them then...

Yeah, they introduced a charge if you didn't take multiple products with them.

If you are looking for an online account, I've been with Cahoot - part of Abbey - for over 5 years. No problems at all (and I think they pay more interest than FD).
