If its a v3 then its even more impressive! And Bills really really worked his magic...
almost certainly its a v2...
No Dan its a V3
I get inundated with messages, FB, forum, txts, emails etc etc etc So if you can get me on the phone, thats probably best.
the manifold was a V3 for the record.
However, those who follow us on FB (advise to as its far more up to date) you will see the active debate re Relentless V3, V2 etc etc

Ported V3 vs as supplied, misaligned at head flange V3
Well then I'm even more impressed, that's an epic result considering its a v3.
have you been following the FB discussion on the mani's Dan? Flange port centre mis-alignment is a key factor we think in why some dont work well, and some work........ Inconsistent quality of their head flanges. Hence ported version I have modded for customer LCR here.
There is no margin for hole centre run out where the tube ID is exactly the same as the port ID. Any mis-alignment will block some of the port. May account for what niki's reporting.
I have but to be honest not looked lately, and obviously by the results you have in this one its can be rectified to some extent. I gathered from my last look that the v3 wasn't that much better than the v2 in an unmodified form but by the looks of it with some work it can be made to function respectably, as with most of this it would be interesting to compare the v2 to v3 on the same setup as I'm sure the figures would be better still, shame the v3 is a step back in some respects whilst forward in others.
All said 295 is very respectable and the extra durability the v3 affords over the v2 ( unmodified ) more than makes up for the hand full of bhp loss. Win win all round..
Thanks Bill I realise your busy. I'll try and ring this week but with coming up to year end things are mental at work at the moment.
Its good to see the V3 can work well.
On a side note I ordered some caliper spacer brackets from you for 330mm discs with the LCR Brembos. You haven't got a rough ETA for them?
Problem is Dan, is Relentless Inconsistent quality.
I have 3 V3 here, none of which align on the had flange, to Varying degree's!! and one V2 which does, and saw a customer V3 on Friday which did align.
How can you deal with something so inconsistent.
Very Poor imho
Yea, soz I missed these.. They'll be popped in the post to you.
I did exactly the same, as it is welded on the outside you can really open them up...
great minds eh Dave
I did'nt enjoy blunting a new carbide burr or wearing the shards of swarf afterwards tho.. I can confirm it sticks like wotnot to a blanket to fleeces
Thanks Bill. How far ahead are you booking?
9th april onwards currently
