Bad radio reception

    Hello!

    I have just installed a Sony Head unit in my car and the radio signal is pretty aweful. I had the same problem about a year ago with a Pioneer unit. I thought it was just the unit, but now, I'm thinking not.
    The radio works perfectly with the standard Symphony II unit.

    Has anyone else come across this problem before?

    You need to make sure the on board aerial amplifier is getting 12v or it won't turn on and you'll have the **** reception that you are experiencing

    Where abouts is it located? And what can I do if it's not recieving the 12v?

    put one of those adapters on mine and the reception is superb
