    Hi guys & gals.

I've just become the owner of a 2007 Audi A4 S-Line 2.0TDi. Lava Grey Metallic, 2 previous owners and a FSH, 73k. Just done cam belt, water pump and aux belt.

It's not perfect: there are one or two little dents (which I'm 98% sure the dent man will get out!), and a couple of scratches, but nothing that can't be worked with. It was the right colour, great mileage and a FSH, so the bodywork bits can be put right over time!

I started life with a Ford Escort, then had 2 x Volvo 440's, then a remapped 480 Turbo. I sold that so we could start saving for a house, and drove my partners Clio for a bit. We then got a Mk4 2003 1.4 Golf Match in Tornado Red. Sold that (in 20 minutes no less!) about 2 weeks ago:

We had that for nearly 5 years so a change was well overdue. So, here's the Audi:

As you can see from the pictures, I've already cleaned the engine (I know theres some plastic covers missing too), the car has been decontaminated and polished/glazed, but theres still a long way to go until it's clean to my standard. I'm a bit obsessive with my car cleaning, always have been so I can't wait to go to town on the Audi, just not had the time/right weather yet. I even managed to get the jet-black tail pipes nice and shiny again!

The interior was quite dirty, but I managed to get it clean: someone had spilt tea a long time ago in the cupholder, and as well as not cleaning it up, they let it go every where else too, so I spent about 2 hours on the centre console etc with cotton buds and toothpicks! It's come up nice, but again, a long way to go. None of the buttons have worn, and it still has the new car smell.

Not really got any modifications planned: I've always modified my cars (tastefully too!), but I just want to keep this standard and minty-clean. I do want to look into the EGR delete kit but thats it. No lowering, no remaps, no stereo (the Bose in this is pretty impressive anyway to be honest!).

Anyway, thats me and my Audi: apologies for the rambling, see you around the forum!
