B7 Black edition

Quick question

What spec is a B7 S line black edition? Is it just de-chromed around the windows and front grill?

Hey buddy. My understanding is that Audi started Black Edition from B8 and not B7.

B7s came as S-Line Special Edition with black grill and trim.

Not all of the special editions came with the black optics pack , black grill and other trim bits in black instead of silver/chrome, depends on what variant of special edition and year.

Agreed @Just Rob. ‘Black Optic’ was optional even on special edition and would cost extra. Some people with S-Line SE then de-chromed their trims.

nearly there chap, the mk2 2.0tfsi 220 special ed came from the factory with black grill and window surround/trim and rails on avants, also rs4 style rims compared to DTM ronal's on mk1 , mk1 came with all the alloy/chrome trim ...as on s-line variants and special eds.
