    As in the title .
A guy I know has recently bought a very nice one, well looked after etc.
Car lives in West Midlands area.
He's thinking it could use a chip ( now he's driven a few thou in it !)
Mine was done virtually from new by the original AmD near Oxford. I remember Geoff Everret soldering in a new mount and plugging in a new chip ( or something like that).
Who is reliable to do this nowadays?
Car is serviced by Dialynx and they have said they cannot undertake this work.
    Thanks .

Bradderz_1988 Dont replace it, Upgrade it !!

Get a Golf/A3 ecu ending in CJ and get it de-immo'd or coded then mapped through OBD port by R-tech or Unicorn or a reputable tuner thats known over the forums.

You might find RTech or Unicorn can chip them too, worth asking the question!
