perches are what your spring sits on and can be selected to effectively lower ride height.

so if you got new s line shocks lowering springs and perches you could lower the height a few mm more than what the springs are effectively?

yes but it would involve messing around with your front struts again , off with springs etc, do you really want all that hassle.

my understanding was put b5 perches on b6 struts and you get a drop of ride height without stiffer suspension, i dont know about s-line in the mix.

I done them on my S4. Lot of work but worth it for an OEM drop
