B5 or B6?

Hi All,

Sorry about the duplicate post, I initially thought I'd posted this question in the wrong place. Think I've deleted the duplicate post now though.

I've recently bought a 2001 (51 plate) Audi A4 1.9 TDI (130BHP) and I was wondering how I tell if it's a B5 or B6?

If anyone can give me any info on checking this out, I'd be grateful.

Hi Rich, its a B6, the B5 ended in early 2001 on Y plate I think.

Fair point... I wasn't sure if it was a B5 or B6, but it was an Audi in superb condition and I loved it, so got it anyway. Plus my 80 of many years died on me

Perhaps if I was told it wasn't a B6 I may have been a little disappointed deep down, but I'd still be happy with my purchase
