Different nozzles, turbocharger and map/ECU. Base engine is the same. The AFN/AKN goes to 180Bhp with a simple tunning chip. The AKE goes to 210Bhp with similar chips/remap. There are v6 tdi tunned in europe with over 260Bhp and on stock pumps. Wach this space as i am slowly building me a4 quattro to about 250Bhp with a big turbo, iveco nozzles and a PSI/Steinbauer chip. Not much stuff available for the v6 tdi i'm afraid !

Merc 3.2 CDI or bmw 3.0D Garrett GTV 2260 will fit with a bit of modding/welding, ford/iveco 2.8L+ diesel nozzles will fit but check the part numbers as some have a different spray pattern. Any bigger than standard will flow more fuel. Also you can upgrade to later cam rollers cyl. heads-if you go mad with the tunning- from BDG engine code. Less likely to eat the camshafts or loose rocker arms inside the cylinder head...

    This is great news!
What are the part numbers of the injectors I will need?

The turbo shouldn't be a problem though TBH...

    Any thoughts on my engine?

Its ok but i would look for an AKE lump if i were you or at least get a quattro as you wont have problems putting the power on the road ! I have a lightly fettled a6 V6 tdi FWD and it spins the wheels in 4th gear if i am giving it the beans ! The a4 v6 tdi quattro puts the power on the road with no drama though...but the a6 handles much better !
