    Bad.

I find them far too soft, but they grip the road like glue.

    I wore a set out in 8K miles /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I have some on my Mazda. Absolutely [censored] in the wet. Dangerously so.

    What?
They have a compound like ebony. They are rock hard and offer no grip at all.
    Bloody awful.
I've done 12000 on mine and they are just over half worn...they are just acceptable in the dry - but only because they're on a quattro - and awful in the wet.

    Best avoided.

Read the title too quick by the looks of it.

I thought we were on about the ZV1's.

I had them on my front wheel drive 2.0 16v Calibra Turbo Corsa, and they were awful.

I'm not surprised they only lasted 8k with all that power to the front wheels!

I did like toyos but they lasted 5 months on my car as I found them to be quite soft. Got conti sport contact on my Avus rims and they are brill!

I am asking this question about tyres as I am thinking about getting the RS6 rims in 18's and most packages I have seen offer Avon ZZ1 or ZZ3 only! The goodyear option puts the price of the wheels ou of my reach at the moment.
