Rights guys and girls. I managed to get my rear wiper arm off with puller to reset the arm as it was starting to sag like a pornstars chesticles I thought I'd sorted it but now when it comes to its resting position it' back to sitting on the paint. Anyone know how to sort as I'm about to go and set it as high as I can for its start position and see if that solves it again.

Have you moved any other screws on the motor?
Perhaps, mechanism tightening screw got loose and rotates the motor? You’ll probably need tailgate trim off for that job, to hold the motor at one end and tighten the screw from the other.
If that is not the case, try to reposition the arm higher again.

I got my replacement arm off eBay. Cheap version, as I thought £80 for the arm only from Audi, was a bit much (!)
It doesn’t do much as it’s wobbly and spring is not pulling the wiper down to glass enough.
Might swap it with salvaged oem A4 Avant as it does look nice. Idea pinched from Audizine

Cheers fella. Not had the trim off yet as that' a last resort I reckon if the reposition doesn' solve it. With it being a common fault I thought someone might point me in the right direction as to its definitive cause i.e like you said a motor mount needing adjustment etc.

Just take it off. Looks loads better. Spend some money on a ceramic window coating instead.

Sorry but it looks a bit like a dog without a tail.

All dogs look better without tails

Yeah that sticker looks terrible, and I think it looks better with a wiper arm in place

I have the same issue, have remove the locking nut but for the love of me cannot remove the wiper arm.

Plus gas is your friend.

Ok will give it a go. I though WD40 would work but how wrong was I!
You need to fast acting releasing WD40 or Plus gas if its that bad. I have a special tool off my mate who used to work for a windscreen place which lifts wipers off the threaded bars.

Lift the arm off the screen and then gently rock it from side to side, you just need to break it away from the taper.
Always works of me.

I've got one of these.

I had a different pulley but it also would work on mine.

Why do you recon it wouldn't work on your car, @Mollygoogle ?
