Avant Quattro Boot Space

Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a boot tray for my Avant. Is the boot space any different to a front wheel drive?
Just wondering if the quattro system intrudes into the boot?

Mine doesn't in the sedan quattro so I wouldn't think it would in the avant.

It's the same size & shape boot for quattro and front wheel drive.

2wd and Quattro have identical boots. Audi designed the chassis to be Quattro from its conception, 2wd is the by product. This also is the same for al the Audi chassis'.

If they were drilled out around the wheel well would there be any difference? (Jake's thinking of getting rid of the spare and if possible metal and whatever else for more room and less weight)
