Hi All,
I'm hybrid retrofitting an aftermarket apple carplay system into my A5 3G+ MMi system
I retrofitted the MMi from the concert, and the wiring harnes i bought didnt seem to properly move over the AUX
in the picture the AUX is the blue block connector (i think, 90% sure) - i can clip it out and fit it to the cradle block in the back of the head unit where the white clip is, however if I do that I don't get AUX up on the media interface and the microphone doesn't work on the OEM system
I need to know where the pins from this blue block go to on my head unit - does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for the back of the unit? It's a Harman becker head unit 8t2035666k
If i can crack it I will have retrofitted carplay to my 2012 audi A5, controlled via the OEM interface and screen - so far looks and works awesome I just cant get sound working due to this issue with AUX
