Aux in for Concert II, advice needed

Hi all,

Just seeking some advice, I have a 2005 A4 with a Concert 2 w/ BT handsfree built in.
I would like to now connect up my phone or ipod to it via cable connection.

I was having a look on ebay and found the following and wanted to know if this would work?

Please advise or recommend a better solution.

Does your head unit have silver knobs on?

Then that's no good for you & your unit doesn't support auxin out of the box, whereas newer concert 2+ units has an auxin feature out of the box, you need something like carlink, dension type with auxin socket on end & iso connections to plugin to your existing cd changer socket wiring.

Thank you for your advice, I think you just saved me money from buying something that would not work.

Any preference between XCarlink and Dension?
