Ok well iv had a bad week what with my van, the dog locking the keys and hime self in the rental car, and missing a few job due to not having a van to work from, but on a plus side it gave me a extra bit of time to spend on this one.

    On arrival:

Wheels cleaned with AS smart wheels:

    arches scrubbed with TFR (PM3)

Sorry no wash pics as there was to much going on with a repair guy fixing the door etc, but it was the usual foam rinse foam TBM wash etc etc.
a few of the defects in the light:

Got it indoors (nice and warm ;)) and set to work Claying the paint work with the sonus Green and megs QD as lube

Once all done i taped the car off and took some readings with the new gage (thanks to John at DFT instruments) and set to work correcting the defects with 3M FCP, folowed by Menz IP 3.02. this took me a total of 12H to get it around 95% defect free as its nearly 8YO i thought that not to bad IMO altho im not to sure with the gage yet i need a few more tests yet.

    And a little wet flatting

Not perfect but far better IMO

After all that polishing the car was dusty so a good clean up and a IPA wipe down

As you can see the finish is nice but not perfect so a run over with the FF to get it perfect before waxing:
