aum engine oil.....which grade?

just rang up my local audi dealership and they are saying in my 2001 a3 (aum) i should have 5-30 or 10-30.

im due a service very soon and im unsure of which to use. the car is on 100 thousand miles now. would 10-40 be ok?? or should i go for 5-30??

Quantum 5w40 from them would probably be the stuff you`d want.

5w30 or 5w40 are what you want.
