Cheers mate. It worked out well. Just need to get some foam cut to the correct size and better tool arrangement cause I got some items I forgot to put in there.
I might pop off to the foam place up the road on the weekend and see what they can do.

The blind is still there but the guy who was meant to rebuild my boot trim let me down.
I need to find someone else to do it for beer money and a spooning session.

Wheels, along way off mate. I keep putting them off like knob!!
I promised my self I'll buy tyres this week but I've heard there might be some hardly used Khumos going for little over a ton that I'm interested in.
So do I wait or rush off and buy a set of new ones. ahhhh

Bought some LED reversion lights off T8ups.
I got no errors but I'm not sure if the bulb warning system works on reversion lights.

I used the same camera settings on each image to make the comparison easier.

Done it.
Took me a day and half to strip the car, relocated a relay, cleaned up some connections, rerouted some cables, wrapped my last bit of wood trim, replace the matrix and put it all back together again.

Heres some pics.

Before I've done any thing.

Centre console nest of wires. This is what needed tiding up and the location of the relay that I moved where the other relays are.

Half way.

No more heater.

One heater. This thing is huge.

Just a little leak.

The end of the day this is what my boot looked like.

Next day I put it all back together, wrapped the wood trim in matt black. It now looks like this.

With all the drained out and some spare time I went off and did some engine bay work.

New EGR blank, Air box cover, New battery cover and new coolant bottle.
Then a quick clean.

Its job a I enjoyed, oddly but not one I really want to do again.

I think the leak was caused by using the wrong coolant or just water.
When I bought the car it was running green coolant but it was mixed cause of all the brown sludge that was in the bottom of the coolant bottle.
Its best to run pink from the manufactors and mix it as per there instructions.

Mine was the same scott. I think people just run anything and it pi55es me off.

Haha Tam said that to me yesterday as I'm only running water because I didn't want to waste my coolant while I flushed the system and got air out. He said there's no rush to put coolant in as it's not that cold

I'm dropping oil and water tonight to fill with coolant and see what sh*t comes out.

That may explain things then - I always run G12++ in my vag cars.
I believe the G12 has small leak sealing properties aswell!

Just a small update or two.

First up, is my engine.
Slowly getting there, I'm not after an super clean bay just something thats a little bit more tidy.

Just need to fit this.

And get a new Passat engine bay cover and I think that's it.

Next is some cup holders. With there only being one cup holder in the dash and I don't trust it that much and mine broke. I want something better and a bit more out of the way.
So I bought this one.

I also just finished fitting Door handle lights from a Touareg.
Just need it to get dark so I see what they look like and if they are any good get some pictures.

Thats it for now.

Another random bits of update.

First off, I removed my wind/rain deflectors.
The back two fell out and the front two are cracking/spliting.

Secondly, to keep a promise to the wife I fitted a sticker so everyone knows what that colour coded metal tube is in the boot.

Thirdly, I thought i'd see what my rear lights are like at night and test V2 of the LED third brake light.
I think they are bright enough now.

And I took a better picture of my black caps. Just waiting on a Passat engine cover and the bay is finished........no wait, I need to sort out the dip stick. lol

Got bored last night and thought I'd attempt wrapping my Audi.
Its a ***** of job and looks ok at a distant but get any closer and you see the issues but I don't like it all being black. so I'm going to remove the wrap on the badge and see what I think of the the rest.

I also tried sorting the supports on my blind.
Not 100%, needs a couple more mm to get it straight but it will have to do. The hinges on the end has got a little bit weak.

Picked up a very early birthday Prezzie on my way to bristol today.
Roof bars and roof box.

Need to get it fitted correctly and painted. It's a bit longer than I thought. It's 7'6" long. I could sleep in it.

It misses the shark fin and needs shifting forward away from the boot lid.

The bars are Thule wing bars. I'd like the wispa bars but not at their current price.
