Audi TT OEM RNS-E Sat Nav can be programmed for my A3?

The OEM RNS-E Sat Nav system on my A3 packed up and I bought one with the same functions and knobs and buttons and same pin diagram but it's from a TT.

It works but is switching on by itself when no one is in the car.

Is this because it need programming to be compatible with the A3 and is this possible or is it because there is a fault with the unit somehow?

Please see photo of original A3 unit and the new TT head unit.

I think you have the wrong forum for this. These don't look like parts that would go in the e-tron.
