    About what time before ur insurance is up is it best to start getting quotes? As I guess quotes have a time limit. What ways are there to help in getting lower quotes? Sorry if it a lot of questions. Thanks.

    That's fine. It's usually best to ring within 30 days of your renewal date or when you receive your renewal papers.
    In terms of reducing premiums, lower mileage is generally helpful & also maybe higher excesses.

    How are you guys fixed with airride? Would you be willing to cover me?
    As Aviva arent interested this year and wont renew my policy because of it, just saves me ringing you guys up to be getting the same situation!

    slightly disappointed to say the least.

    I rang today to talk about my renewal price, and was told id have to ring the correct department with an 084--- number, i immediately questioned it and stated i was on a mobile phone, was briefly put on hold, my details then got took and said id get a call back in about 5-10 mins. great!...

    Well you shut at 8pm and im still waiting.

    The main reason i insured with you guys was to receive a more personal experience than these larger companies, and when i came to you last year the help i received was totally brilliant! and being able to ring and get through to someone was quick and easy to communicate with.

    The reason i write this is just to inform you really, because if nobody says anything you wont know. Maybe you guys can pick up on my message and give me a ring back tomorrow.

    Here we are nearly halfway through the year already!

    Please don’t forget to ring us if your car insurance is due in June – both standard and modified cars!

    Bit of feedback from last month to whet your appetite! –

    Just had a quote from these guys. Got a call back exactly when they said they would and the guy I dealt with was really helpful and personable.. I think his name was Chris. Anyway the quote. Im with (XX) currently and when I added my typhoon induction kit a few months ago they increased my premium by about £140... I've got 9 years no claims aswell.I got a quote from these guys (fully comp with a lower excess) and they have beaten the original price I had from (XX) before the increase after I declared the typhoon. Can't argue with that, they are really modification friendly and seem to use common sense to weigh up the risk instead of computer. Ill be canceling the (XX) insurance in the next few days and taking it out with prestige instead.

    I find this is always the case with most insurance companies these days.

    We did offer quotes in Northern Ireland but we were far from competitive on all of them so to stop wasting people's time, we decided to cease offering quotes there.

    Hi, I dont mean to play any company down but I cannot believe the Quote i have just been given from a member of your staff! how and where they got their figures from i don't want to know? it was well over triple what im getting quoted at other insurance brokers?

    In your signature it flashes at me and everyone else "we view you as a better driver" my question is when and how?

    Also the service i was given was atrocious, i felt like i was under scrutiny for a murder i had convicted? I also told the sale person i wanted add a named driver and they didn't seem to care? and looked at my quotes before she had all my information.

    Renewal not due for a while but pretty sure current company don't want to to know if if decide to go stage 1 & cat back so looking to switch, would you be happy to quote on that basis?

    Admittedly I was surprised to hear your initial comments because this is totally unlike what I am hearing elsewhere so it was good that it was checked out.

    I'm expecting my renewal any time now. How are the figures looking generally, Tim? I know you can't say anything specific, but with all the talk in the media about falling costs, I wondered if you are seeing any evidence of that for real.

    Last month was one of our best for a long time regarding renewal 'retention' so things seem to be looking good price-wise. We do keep an eye on the market so hopefully this reflects this.

    Just renewed for a third year running, again for less than the previous year. I wasn't overjoyed when I was told there was a mandatory claims management policy costing £29.95. But after a few minutes discussion about what "mandatory" actually means, and an observation from me that managing claims is something I expect to be covered by the premium and/or the broker fee, it was agreed that I would not be charged for this extra service.

    1 in 3 conversion rate for people ringing us for a quote on our car insurance scheme from the forum last month!!!
    Why don’t you ring us when your renewal is due?
    Surely worth a call?! These people did last week & posted this feedback -
    - Just rang up and they knocked £240 off what (XX) quoted me for my renewal, pretty happy with that! Lavis89, Audi-Sport.net.
    - Thanks Tim, they rang today. (XX) quoted me £950. Prestige quoted me £609 - so I bought it. Thank you. All my no claims is on another car, so I can't complain! Pondlife, UKLegacy.com.
