Used to love it years ago and a small mishap meant getting it out again.

Saddly a sticky fingered inbred pinched the Cook Bros cranks I had on it :( Mainly XT/XTR, wheels handbuilt by me.

A little work was needed as the MAG-21 seals had failed.

Bike was run until the end of the Summer like this until I used my filming money to buy this

    And as it's sitting now

    Let's see yours :)

Here's mine, bought last summer only to discover a young family doesn't allow as much time for a thrash as I would have liked... loads of plans for some local and further a field riding now the weather is improving again (yes I am a wimp and easily put off by the cold and wet lol).

There's an existing thread on this already, but last time I linked to it I got flamed so I won't bother lol

I bought my Cannondale Trail SL2 29 in 2011 and these are the pictures I took on day one!

    I've since added these:

    And these:

    And this for the winter:

Along with some Bontrager Mud-X tyres, which are fantastic and allow me to do this: (sort of)

Love the Stumpjumper mate :) Superkarl, your bikes win this thread already!

Here's my steed. It's a GT Zasker Race (tiny frame yes, but I was a BMXer for years). Hope discs, Sun/Ringle Equalizer wheels, 24/7 stem, 9sp-only. Has a 24" rear wheel, 26" front. It's more of a jump bike but it's being drafted in to a 150 mile jaunt to Windermere in May which will be fun. The Schwalbe Tabletop tyres howl and give huge lean angles on the road. Need to drill the seatpost bolt out as it's rounded off and fit the new inner tube to the rear. Got a torn thigh muscle so I'm in no hurry to sort it out yet, shame as the weather is getting better every day.

Here's mine the day I got it a couple years ago,10 minutes later all the reflectors were off :)
Haven't seen much action tbh,bit of a fair weather biker these days, and shifts and kids tend to get in the way.
Got few rest days off work soon so hopefully get a few miles done, even if its down the local canal towpath,my fitness is non-existent just now.
Scuse the untidy garden behind it,an ongoing project....

    Here's my little green machine

    Wolftrax at Lagan.

    Glentress
    [IMG]

It cost more than some of my motorbikes and needs me to propel it along but it makes mince meat of descents and climbs like a hard tail. Love it.

My mate keeps on banging on about Glentress, need to go up there with him sometime. Hamsterly Forest and Chopwell Woods are my locals and damn hard work.

Carbon 25th anniversary Stumpjumper, Mavic wheels, Pace factory edition carbon forks. Its taken a lot of Ebay wheeling and dealing to get it to where it is but really happy with it.

when I get home ill go in my shed and tell you what make model it is as I can't remember lol. but I got mine of eBay and i grabbed it for a bargain £12

Bought the frame from work cheap, built it up out of some bits i had lying around. Planned to build and sell on to make a cheeky profit
    DSC_0007.jpg
    DSC_0011.jpg

After a quick test ride at glen tress, I discovered the frame, despite being a small, was perfect geometry for me for throwing down hills and over jumps. So it got some new forks... Float 32 130mm.
    DSC_0023.jpg
And has since had Ritchey bars and stem, float RP23 shock, and some new brakes.

All in has cost me about 300quid! And is the best bike i've bought to date!

I bought mine back in 2007, would love to upgrade but find it hard to justify. Still in good nick though.

New pedals, saddle and forks have been fitted since this was taken

I used to be into the more street/jump bikes with a couple of Giants and an One-One Gimp but now I'm a bit more sane (not as brave as I used to be) I stick to a bit of light XC with my stumpy

i'm always up for some glen tress action too!

Having been to several trail centres in wales, i think glen tress/spooky woods is my personal favourite. Although i'd love to go back to wales!

Mines only a hard tail and I have limited ability ha. Not sure I could hit a black run without killing myself.

Edit, just found a pic of mine. It desperately needs some good forks, but they'll do for now. Don't get to ride it much at the moment.
