    hi people, can anyone tell me whether the gps fins can be used as a tv aeriel? i have a 6.5in screen with a built in tv tuner but all the tv aeriels i have looked at are bloody **** or way too big to hide anywhere. what tv aeriels are used with the rns-e? and where can i get one? help would be greatly appreciated. i really wish i would of just got the rns-e

    No I think they are only any use for GPS/telephone reception.

    I beleive they are mate, my S4 B6 had diversity, TV etc, I'm sure it was all in the rear windows as they all had the elements within them & I actually took the trims of & found the diversity system in the boot left side & the wires from the window all went into the system there.

    Chris, best people to ask are, 1st AndyMac, or PetrolDave on here or over on NavPlus fella ask AudiB6US commonly known as Dirk, they will all know for sure.

    Sharkfin does only GPS, Auxillary heater signal & Phone, I think radio is all diversity/rear windows now, could be wrong but they will 100% confirm.

    You're spot on Nigel.

    For anyone in the US the sharkfin also has the antenna for the XM/Sirius satellite radio tuner as well.

    The radio uses 2 way diversity and the TV 4 way diversity to improve reception.
