Picked up my 2.0t fsi yesterday so was having a bit of a play in the garage last night..pressed the open button on the screen..screen folded down..so I thought I would see which nab version I had so pressed eject on the DVD player..no luck!!! Is there a reason!! Checked to see if there's a disc in there and there must be as if you try to put another disc in it won't go in so I'm pressuming there is deffo a disc in there!!

There is a reason. Its an anti-theft measure used to safeguard the theft of nav disks which cost £160+. You'll need someone with vcds to unlock the disk. Thats if theres definately one in there! If you go NAV then SETUP then MAP VERSION and Google the part number you should get the year im guessing.
