Audi Sat Nav & CD player.

Just put a deposit on a 2.0TDI S-Line which has sat nav in it.

Picking it up on Tuesday evening but noticed that the govebox looks as if it has had a CD changer in which has been removed.

As I understand it the CD behind the sat nav screen contains the Nav maps DVD so does this play normal CD's to or is it a case of the nav not working if there is an audio CD in?

Thats it exactly... either sat nav or audio cds but not both at same time.

Looks like cd changer been removed... possibly ipod connection?

Thanks S3Matt, that's what I thought. Had some advice on the B6 part of the forum and have ordered 2x2GB SD cards that I can put music on which will hopefully be even better than having a changer anyway:

Using SD cards is MUCH better than a CD changer - you get track names! Plus with a 4GB SD card (note NOT an SDHC card they don't work) you can get >30CDs per card so 2 SD cards gives you the equivalent of 60+ CDs.
