I have a 2000 s3 which currently is on coilover rears have died i need to put on some springs can anyone tell me the s line number for them so i can get those which i believe are slightly lower than standard ones help needed asap as car of the road??

Not heard of S line springs on a 2000 S3...surely those are off the 8P as S line was not for the 8L...not to sure if you can retro fit them if that's what you're on about?
To be honest thought your best bet would be to give your local TPS store a call and they should be able to find out what OEM rear springs will fit your S3 through your VIN number or registration plates.

OE springs won't fit coil over adjustable platforms and won't lower the car as much as the correct springs would...
Spring rate will also be different and alter the handling (will most likely understeer more)... the springs I think you mean are 20mm lower than std as S3 springs are 10mm lower than A3 ones anyway... I think they were referred to as gmbh sports kit...
