Audi S3 Buying Advice

I am looking to purchase an S3 within the next couple of months.
Unfortunately I am on a budget of no more than 5k but from searches on auto trader, p/s & eBay there seem to be quite a few S3's at this price.

I have a few questions:

What mileage am I safe to go up to until I should start worrying about the car falling apart?
I should check FSH, Haldex services, what else?
Also what year was the facelift introduced in.

Any help would be appreciated!

these cars dont fall apart..... you will need to maintain like anything else, facelift came in @ X plate, although if you want full facelift which includes BAM engine, and all the little trimmings you'll need to buy post Y/51plate

your best searching the forum as theres loads of info on this...... 5k isnt much though and i doubt you'll find an FSH car for that with the miles your gonna be looking at - best of luck though
