    Just a quick one folks,

Some of you may know Tony Spears, autoshine detailer that covers West Yorkshire and the world. He just had all four rotor wheels stolen off his A3 sportback.

The little scum bags have smashed the back window, used the cars own tyre iron and jack in the boot and removed all the wheels.
This apparently is a big problem at the moment so just be aware as best as you can.

Hope they get what they deserve......

I've never thought about it to be honest!

I'm going to hide mine somewhere else in the car when I get back home later on...

Is there a clever place to hide the nut? If so, I'd like to know! The thought of moving it elsewhere never crossed my mind but it wouldn't hurt to hide it somewhere else.

I always thought people doing this type of crime always came equipped with their own jack and a variety of locking nuts - this must have been a very opportunistic thief!

Looks like an everyday car getting work done in a Halfords auto centre.

That must be gutting :/ I always made sure i got the car home in the snow to prevent this. Just an eye opener i suppose to those still with bad weather to just leave your car at home or place your staying over night.

That's a quality idea but don't know how many would take up the offer. I'm sure the insurance will sort the bulk out but nice to hear a genuine offer from another car nut

I'm close to tears if I kerb an alloy let alone this :lmfao:

    Those pics are scary.

I've got a mate in the locking wheel nut business, last year he was testing a new design which he claimed couldn't be removed without a key! I think I need to pay him a visit soon.

Best ones i think at the moment are with the metal ring that goes round the nut, so any no standard tool you put on it goes round and round.
