Lucky to be alive, amazing how the crash barrier managed to pass through the car like that!
Oh my god thats ridiculous! How safe are R8's normally?
Now thats what I call a close encounter!
Lucky to be alive!!! Saw a similar one where a large wooden post did the same to the passenger footwell, sadly they died. Makes you think eh!
'I'd rather die than lose both my legs' what an eejit
I think its time people had to do a harder more intensive test to drive such powerful cars at such a young age ! He is one lucky lad looking at those pictures ...
Very nasty and lucky to be alive!
Oh my god..
Epic thread bump
Oh that is one shocking crash the photo's with the blood on the barrier make my hair stand on end.
nothing new here tho.
i remember back in the 90's a series called 999 with reconstructions of emergencies....
an old volvo estate (think it was) that crashed into the end of some long pole type barriers with concreate posts. the pole had gone thru the front missed the engine and thru the rest of the car including the drivers stomach but missing vital organs somehow. fire fighters had to cut thru the pole with a hacksaw behind and infront of him and took him to hospital still with the pole in him!
I remember that too!
