Do you know if its Royal Mail delivering Jay?
I shall find out mate...
On nightshift tonight but if I know its Royal Mail I'll wait up as they come about 9ish
I'm on nights too pal, the eBay advert says Royal Mail 1st class but I have emailed for clarification.
It is Royal Mail that delivers them.
Today's the day fellas. Hope your all in when they're delivered as I'm sure the posting will start...
I know mine will be getting washed and put on that's for sure...
LETS SEE THEM QUATTROS!
All the best
That's mine arrived.
On first impressions it's not the quality I was expecting.
I'll get the car washed later after some sleep and see what it's like.
Cheers Jay for sorting this out so promptly.
Got mine, cheers Jay
Mine hasn't arrived with todays Royal Mail ð
Thats typical, the guy who organises it gets his last, hope its no too long before you get it mate
Haha, if its any consolation mine hasn't arrived with the usual RM delivery either, not unexpected though given the remote-ness
Yeah Jay typical after all your organising.
I'm gonna fit mine later and I'll post a pic. I'm gonna wrap the clear bit if plastic black first.
That's what I was saying earlier... Hopefully that will make the quality appear slightly better.
Not got mine either jay, that's Royal Mail for u
Spent a bit of time trying different locations and I think I prefer it here.
After a bit if swearing its on.
That looks pretty sweet mate. At first glance I thought it looked a bit busy... But after a while it actually looks quite sporty/aggressive being so close together. Wonder if the number plate boarder was removed if it would give it a different look? I like it
Like it mate, where did u get the number plate thingy mi jigs from?
I was also thinking of that location, glad you did it mate I think it looks good
i agree i think it look too much, but thats the license plate causing that. If it was just black i think the new badge would look alot more effective
Here's a pic from slightly further back
Here you go mate
As already been said it looks too busy, but now seeing it further back, it looks good.
Yeah I tried it above the splitter but I prefer it where I've now put it and if course so does the wife!
I'll let her think she was right.
Mine arrived this morning, thanks. :icon_thumright:
Quattro location is good but you have 3 Audi ring logos, 2 S3 logos and an Audi logo all in close proximity.
Looks far too busy, I would remove the number plate surround if it was me.
Guys remind me to look before I jump, this badge dont fit on my splitter as its too wide, it wont fix to my grill either, need to modify, will be back soon lol
Had to modify the fixing as my grill dont have the wide bar slats, I dont think it looks too bad, may remove the small quattro badge ?
Here's another pic if mine with the surround removed.
And if I'm honest I think I prefer it with the surround
Got mine this morning.
Can't fit it yet as car is not arriving until September. The badge is in my stash of goodies to go on the car when it comes.
@Marshy - it is your car so have it like you want it. Looks great either way in my opinion.
Fitted to my 8L, I like it personally, not the same visual impact as on an 8P though.
Never seen it fitted to an 8L before, looks well smart,
Gotta love the 8L's
Can't wait to get mine
They look ace .
Looks perfect that.
Cheers for sorting the badges jay it's appreciated mate.
If there's owt to moan about to xenon it's the quality for £45 I was expecting better quality if I'm honest knowing what there like now I'd be hard pushed to pay £20.
I'd also put longer screws to hold the plastic strip on which I intend to do.
If the badge is still on the car come the end of summer I'll be surprised, just don't see it lasting.
Yes, I think maybe mine will fly off when doing over 130 mph.......... Joke lol
The not allowed to joke police may get u for that....
They will be along shortly lol
Removing the flies from the badge will be an issue.
I think they look good on but as I said yesterday I think the quality and fixing setup is pretty gash.
If I'd handled one before ordering I'd of put a price of £15-£20 on it.
Have you got yours today Jay?
Yes mate received this morning. I can only agree with all your comments. First impression thought looked good. Then picked it up and was very flimsy. I think they do look good on however unfortunately I don't think they are going to last too long (probably the jet wash will rip it off). Price was a bit steep considering the build quality. So overall mixed emotions really but still early days so may prove differently.
