Audi Experts! Help me choose my company car please.

Hi Guys,

First post this so here goes;

I have got a job with a fine company that has offered me a company car, there are the typical cars on there Focus, Golf etc but the one that i didnt think woukd be available is the Audi A3.

Given my price range i can afford the following;

Audi A3 5 Door Sportback 2.0 TDI 170 12

Audi A3 5 Door Sportback 2.0 TDI 170 Sport 12

Audi A3 5 Door Sportback 2.0 TDI 170 SE 12

Audi A3 5 Door Sportback 2.0 TDI 140 Black Ed

Audi A3 5 Door Sportback 2.0 TDI 140 S Line 12

So basically its the top of the line 140 or the 3rd best model 170.

Bearing in mind i would like minimum extras of phone connectivity and thats about it which is the better of the two?

A lot of review websites say the Black edition is style and little substance given the price, yet the sport edition is lower and a bumpier ride given the sports suspention.

Given i will be using this car everyday for the next 3 years i want to get this choice right.

You wise, fact based and unbiased opininons would be appreciated.

Definitely the Black Edition.

Black Edition has the Sline kit + extras such as DRLs.

look at the tax liability on the 170 mate and you will soon be more interested in the 140, only problem is you will have retired before its delivered if you order a Black edition .after a five month wait and an anticipated further wait till mid April I am in the process of cancelling mine and ordering another marque altogether
