Audi CD Changer and aftermarket Ipod kit?

Is there any reason the two would not work together? I ordered the Audi ipod kit for my motor then we i went to use the cd changer it didn't work!

Dealers say that you cannot have both!? Can anyone confirm?

Yes they wont work, the aftermarket ipod kit uses the plug that your Audi CD changer uses. The genuine Audi one is no different! You cant use them both!

The Ipod kit is rubbish anyway.....as you may have noticed!

I ahve asked for the CD changer to be put back in, never use the ipod kit anyway.

Cheeky feekers said they told me this when i ordered the ipod kit!

Sorry to highjack, but if you have a Symphony 6cd in-dash changer can you still use the changer if you opt for the ipod kit?

you can get a lead to enable to use both the ipod dock cable and the cd changer, cant remember who supplys them now though
