hi all, I HAVE AN RNS-E SAT NAV WHICH AT TIMES SEEMS UNABLE TO TRACK THE CAR RESULTING IN THE DISPLAY PUTTING THE CAR'S LOCATION SOME DISTANCE FROM ITS ACTUAL POSITION. ANY IDEA'S?

maybe a dodgy antenna? in my old car i had a pioneer dvd sat nav scrren and the antenna was mounted on the dashdash board, and when i was getting my windscrren replaced, the ba5tards cut through it and then taped it up, i didnt realise at the time, and i only realised a few weeks later when the gps signal wasnt picking up my location!!
got a new antenna and the problem was sorted.
could be a reason for yours playing up.

ill second drewbee on that, go in to setting on your rns-e and see how many satelites are showing ....
