Audi A6 TDI 1998 Wet Carpet

Hi,

i hope there is someone here who can help, I have a 98 A6 TDI which has now developed a habit of having a damp rear passenger footwell, I thought it was the door seal but this is fine, any ideas as I am going slighty mental having to vac it out almost once or twice a week, could it be coming from the vent under the seat???

Any help would be great.
