Long story short... central locking doesn't work, and ignition only brings on sidelights and mmi with climate control lights and functions. It also unlocks steering lock.
This all started after draining battery and then trying to jump start it (at the battery, not jump points!!). Seems like symptoms to me of bad control access module j518 - although i have read the new battery i fitted may need recoding?
anyone know how to gain ignition power so i can run vagcom?
Really pulling my hair out here - Any ideas?
