I have removed the compressor and disconnected the 2 pipes connected to it and fixed the sheard bolt on the front of the clutch.

Just a quick question can i go to any garage to have it regassed or do i need someone that knows what they are doing as i have had the system open no longer than 45mins but a friend of mine has said kwik fit for example wouldnt vac the system out fully

    could someone please advice

Hi fella..... you could take it to any garage, its good practice to have the system vac'd, oil checked then re gas'd. A mate fitted mine, but for some reason one of the O ring seals on the pipe to compressor had stretched, and it nipped when we put it back together! Hence it lost gas as soon as the garage tried to re-gas it. The seal cost £1.00 from Audi, i changed both on the comp as a matter of course, Cars nice and cool once more! Hope this helps
